On canvas , I have been working on a series entitled "faces of her" a mix of acrylic and oil, but on wood as a medium, rather than the typical clothen canvas. The end result is something I feel is ultimately more organic and natural and I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do. I am very excited about my newest discovery the art of mixed media! Combining stationery, and other antique elements with my favorite, antique stamps from mid 19th century through mid 20th century, taken from the height of the royal era of Iran, I am seeing a historical record magically appear that at once intrigues and fascinates me, transporting me to another place and time. |
Over
the past 25 years, while developing my professional career, my
true passion has always been art. With a head full of ideas, and
a life long desire to paint and communicate via art, I have tried
to follow my passion for art through the media of watercolor, acrylic,
oils, charcoal, and pastel. And most recently
collage and jewelry making.
